Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoloAsk ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SoloAsk provides a website feedback widget and dashboard that allows website owners to collect and manage user feedback. The Service includes both free and paid subscription tiers.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to collect feedback that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You may not use the Service to spam or deceive users.

5. Payment and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

SoloAsk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name.

Feedback Data: We store feedback submitted through your widgets, including the feedback text, topic selected, and timestamp.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited and features used.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Send you important notifications about your account
  • Improve and optimize the Service
  • Respond to your requests and support inquiries

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for database hosting and Stripe for payment processing. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may export your feedback data or request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
